SIMBSS (Students International Missionary Baptist Seminary School) is a multi-faceted ministry spanning from the Solomon Islands to the Amazon jungle of Peru and back to the United States. The goal of this ministry is to train and develop pastors in parts of the world where no instruction is available. A secondary goal is to provide local churches with teaching modules that are unique to each church's needs, objectives, and time constraints.

Every year at Second Baptist, we have our “Faith Promise Conference”. This is a time when we individually & privately promise to give over and above our tithes & offerings for the following year. The amount received is used to help fund our local, national, and foreign mission works.
The Costa Rica missions project is a new church plant effort focused on reaching the lost in Upala, Costa Rica. The team consists of missionary family Danny & Sally Aleman along with their two little ones, and Andi Garner as missionary helper. Survey trips and deputation are currently underway with a projected goal of being on the field by 2028.
