Cody Wright

Missionary

Cody is from Grand Rapids, Michigan where he was raised in a pastor’s home. He is a student at the Missionary Baptist Seminary and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Languages and is currently working to fulfill the requirements for a Master’s degree. Cody surrendered to the preaching ministry in the summer of 2011. He accepted the call of Second Baptist Church to serve as Youth Music Director in April of 2012, and the call to be Music Director in January of 2014. Now, Cody is preparing to go on the mission field in Plainfield, Indiana, alongside Jonathan Woodring to help lead a church plant there. He is planning to move with his family to Indiana in the spring of 2024. He is married to Tori Wright of Malvern. They have two sons, Judah and Shepherd.
